The nowHIRE solution is currently being implemented
into the largest multi-lingual enterprise offering
in our industry, AutoZone. AutoZone’s solution
encompasses: Corporate, Internal, Stores (3700
Locations), Distribution Centers, College and
Contingent workforce recruitment; with over 3700
system users in the USA and Porto Rico.
Yes, our solution is deployed to organizations of
all sizes.
nowHIRE products and services are 100% web-based,
ASP solutions. Our clients need nothing more than a
standard browser and Internet connection to access
the system from anywhere. There are no downloads
required or special installs necessary.
The nowHIRE systems support Internet Explorer 5.01,
SP1 and above, Netscape Navigator 4.73 and above and
AOL 6 and above. Our system does not require any
plug-ins or other components to be installed on the
users computer.
nowHIRE systems take over the work of managing your
corporate career site. Beyond a minimal amount of
up-front coordination, most of the technical aspects
of your career site's functionality are handled by
our system.
We are constantly adding new features and
functionality to our systems based on user requests
and feedback. Because of the web-based nature of the
system, all users have immediate access to upgrades
and additional features.
Our IVR solutions were introduced to the market in
1998. Our web solutions were introduced to the
market in 1999.
Our solution has been implemented to over 300+
organizations worldwide. We currently support of
10,500 staffing users on our system.
Web capacity: The nowHIRE web-based systems can
handle an unlimited number of users. We use a
“burstable” connection to the Internet in an
environment that has an OC-48 connection. Because
the system is scaleable, additional capacity can be
easily added.
Telephone capacity (IVR): nowHIRE has access to 672
telephone lines using a DS-3 connection. This
equates to over 8,000 5-minute phone calls per hour.

The web application is a secure site using 128 bit
encryption and a Secure Server Certification
Authority issued by RSA Data Security, Inc.
The applicant tracking system (nowHIRE) is a secure
site using 128 bit encryption and a Secure Server
Certification Authority issued by RSA Data Security,
Inc. Client data is stored on a database server that
resides behind a “hardware firewall” (not directly
on the Internet). The database will only accept
requests for the data that has passed our security
checks. Access to the system is granted by username
and password only according to the rights assigned
to a specific user.
nowHIRE maintains an active security program that
includes automatic update of virus protection
software, current operating system patches and
updates, on-going monitoring of all firewalls and
web servers, hardware and software intrusion
detection, monitoring of event logs and Internet
activity, restricted access to management functions
on production servers and 24/7 monitoring of the
entire network by RedSiren.
nowHIRE maintains an active program designed to
reduce downtime in the event of a major catastrophe.
These programs include:
• Co-located services providing redundant Internet
and telecommunication routing, redundant
power
supply and state of the art fire suppression.
• Redundant hardware.
• Redundant power supplies.
• Daily system and data back-ups sent off-site.
nowHIRE recognizes that all data collected on behalf
of the client using the system is the exclusive
property of the client while housed on the nowHIRE
system. Should the client request an export of any
or all of this data, nowHIRE will provide the export
in a standard export format.
nowHIRE has a Service Level Agreement that
guarantees uptime of it’s Internet services. As a
part of the Service Level Agreement, nowHIRE will
credit a portion of the monthly license fee for
downtime in excess of the agreed upon level.
2004 – 99.985% (9.1 hours of downtime for the year)
2005– 99.993% (4.3 hours of downtime for the year)
2006 – 99.999% ( .4 hours of downtime for the year)
* Uptime specifically refers to the availability of
nowHIRE web servers and connectivity to the Internet
backbone. Uptime calculations do not include
scheduled maintenance.
We perform system wide maintenance that requires
downtime for the entire system twice per year
(January and July). We perform this maintenance
between 11:00 PM and 4:00 AM (EST) on a Saturday
(evening) or major holiday, to minimize user
inconvenience. Downtime is generally 2-4 hours.
Users are notified at least 2 weeks in advance of
all scheduled maintenance.
